Description

UPCOMING HERBAL INTENSIVES!!

(We’ll be outdoors under tents for shelter from the sun or possible rain shower with space between participants with room for 8 people each day. Please dress accordingly.)

I will be holding an herbal intensive for a group of 8 students, 8 students each on Saturday June 12th, 1 pm to 3:30 pm and Sunday June 13th, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at my home in Vermilion, Ohio.

You’ll learn to identify common backyard and local plants and the uses and benefits of our ‘green allies’.

The classes will be a walk-about, identifying different edible and medicinal herbs and plants.

The class will consist of identifying common backyard and local plants with discussions on the uses and benefits of our ‘green allies’. We will also discuss some ways they can be prepared for us to use them.

I look forward to sharing the herbal knowledge that I’ve accumulated through approximately 35-plus years of practice with as many people who are interested, and I do plan on offering more classes in the near future for those of you who are not able to attend at this time.

The classes will be offered to the first 8 people who complete the sign-up order for either day. The cost for this event(s) is $35.00 a person. I will email directions closer to the dates of the events for those who sign up for a class.

Due to the rescheduling there are now openings on both days.

GREEN BLESSINGS!
Judi

P.S. A 15% discount on all available Hummingbird products is offered to those who attend and wish to purchase.

I have been to 2 of Judi’s classes & highly recommend them. An awesome opportunity to be in an intimate, sit around the table setting with a knowledgeable herbalist. Wether a novice or familiar with natural ways, you will learn more than a thing or two. She sends you home with fact sheets, recipes, even internet links and encouragement for you to continue your own research and obtain your own organic herbs!
    See you there! -Andrea

I loved class and enjoy, very much, learning more from you. I have grown so much since your first class and little by little am getting so much more comfortable in what I’ve learned from you. And that is helping me chip away the pharmaceutical medicine cabinet and use the plants and medicines God put here for us. And that feels good.

Thank you. And I look forward to seeing you again.

I really enjoyed class. They are always packed with all kinds of useful information! I really enjoy getting to make something during class. You make it seems so easy!

Looking forward to the class in March!

    Hi Judi,

I was so excited to recently find a White Mulberry volunteer popping up in my yard. I would never have discovered it (or probably even have thought to check what it was) and would have pulled it as a weed if not for your workshop. I’m hoping to transplant it to a better spot in my yard in the fall, as now it’s between two close fence posts. So far it’s about 2-3 feet tall.

I hope you and your sister are doing well. Thank you again for a great workshop. I hope you know that you have made, and are continuing to make, a hugely positive impact on this crazy world. Even though I still feel very much like a beginner in the world of herbs, you have inspired me to continue to learn and grow and I thank you for that.

    Fondly,
    Michelle
